What Makes Us Different

At Auxilio Care we specialise in the following areas : Learning disability, Physical disability, Cerebral Palsy, Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome, Sensory impairment, Complex needs, Dysphagia, Down Syndrome, Dual Diagnosis, Challenging behaviour, Non-Verbal learning disabilities, Global Delay Syndrome, Memory deficits, Fragile X Syndrome, Williams Syndrome and Executive Functioning. At Auxilio Care Ltd we believe that the service fits the individual and not the individual fitting the service. People with disabilities have a voice and it is our responsibility to ensure they are given that voice to confirm that their support package is tailored specifically and is not a generic presumption. Personalising support is key to the wellbeing of the individual. A package of care that has been created without the input of the individual can take away choice and promote a societal model that dismisses individuals due to their disability. To avoid this model, we have adopted a culture of asking the relevant questions such as: ‘how can we adapt our service to meet your needs?’ as opposed to: ‘is our service the right fit for you?’ Non-traditional and intuitive thought processes like these, that can make a difference to the individual and offer them choice and control over their support package.

  • My staff treat me like everyone else, they don’t see my disability first, which is important to me. My passion in life is football, due to my disability, I need support to go to matches. Auxilio and their support staff, make sure I get to every single match and it is a joy to be out, enjoying something that I love and feel carefree whilst I am doing this.
