About Us
We often get asked about our name and what does it mean, so that seems like a good point to start from. Auxilio originates from a Latin verb and means to help, to assist or to heal. It has found its way into many current day languages including Spanish, Greek, Portuguese. Those meanings form the starting point for Auxilio Care in our aim to be a become a leading provider of care and support services for adults. We started in 2014 at Richmond Road providing supported living services for adults with learning difficulties, physical difficulties and complex needs. This platform was then expanded for providing care and support to the wider community. Our experienced senior staff are able to understand and adapt to provide tailor made care and support suiting the needs of each individual.
We are a small, growing, innovative organisation that is looking to make a difference to the people that we work with and employ. We use up to date technology to enable us to spend less time completing paper work and more time focusing on the individuals we support and care for. Our managers are able to view support and care actions as they happen, pick up any issues as and when they happen and run reports on every element of care and support an individual receives. We are then able to share this information with relevant professionals to look at trends and patterns for each individual.
Our Ethos
We believe every individual has a right to live their lives as independently as possible and to be included within the functioning of society around them. The individual requiring support has full control in commissioning their bespoke care and support package and we, the provider will support, guide and promote this autonomy. For individuals that do not have the capacity to be self-sufficient; learning new skill sets that can promote independence and engaging in community activities with the support of staff, can continue to instil a liberty with small decision making – ensuring control and choice is still an option.
Our value is ‘promoting independence’ and our proven ability to accomplish this, enables us to stand out from the crowd. We pride ourselves on providing a high quality safe and reliable services to all, with our highly skilled teams. We see past challenges or disabilities and we see them for the individual characters they are. We support to the best of our capabilities and we advise when it is appropriate to do so. We encourage, we stabilise, we act in people’s best interest, we adhere to guidelines, policies and procedures but most importantly, we care.
